This International Style house, built in 1980, makes full use of its lakeside setting in the Carrollwood area. The large glazed areas, protected from the sun by projecting walls and roof, face a large deck which is cantilevered where the lake curves into the yard. A brick-paved court flanked by the garage leads to the entrance. Clearstory windows add to the light in the high-ceilinged rooms. In other places, the house rises to two stories. The whole is a complex of white planes at right angles, in which windows form contrasting dark planes. This is a distant view from the lakeside.
