But oh God, Father of Abraham, I aac and Jacob, I am worried bout our country. We seem to be in a state of regres s ion. We seem to have lo s t our love, our reverence and our fear for You and Your awesome power. We have lost love and respect for each other. We h ave eve n lost the sanity of life, which only you can give. Today, we snuff out a lif e without a secon d thought and without an ounce of r e morse. R e ligion has berome a game, rather than a belief and a moral guide for living. Thi country is in a mess The economy is in the ditch, unemployment is threaten ing an all time high, the country is in the midst of two wars a dispute with several other nations, a widening gap of open racism and a governmen t that is shackled with bi-partisanship. I know that this was not Your master plan for this, our America. I also know that as Creator of the universe, one wave of Your mighty hand can change all of this for the better. But Father, I know that this is not the way You do things. You gave us a brain. You allow us to think for ourselves. We have the power to ask in Your name. So Father today I am asking in Your name to heal America Get this country back on the path of the sparrow. Ha ve us to be the nation You would want us to be. Lord I am but one weak voice in this massive uni verse, but I pray that You will hear my prayer and either help my country, or help me to help my country. Thank you for listening God.
