USF 50th (2006) anniversary oral history project
Roger Frazee discusses his involvement with the USF Sarasota campus, where he serves on the Alumni Association and Leadership Council. He describes the establishment of the campus, funding disputes, the creation of the honors program, and the campus's expansion and development. Frazee also served on the search committee that selected Judy Genshaft as university president.

Became a student at USF in 1969 as a transfer student from Manatee Community College, and graduated in 1971 with a double major in f inance and accounting. Describes the campus and student population during the late 1960s and the early 1970s as well as the political and social situation on campus and how it reflected the mood of the country at that time. Employment dur ing and after his college career and his use of the GI Bill. Describes how and why he became involved with the USF Sarasota/Manatee Alumni Association in 1989. Describes the University of South Florida's involvement with New College of Florida, as well a s the establishment of the University of South Florida Sarasota c ampus.
