Professor, s erved as the Secretary/Treasurer of the National K Foundation, Began an organization called Filling Area Needs, served on t he board of the Children Services Foundation, Served on the Board of Directors at the Library Foundation, on the Search Committee for the New Vice President for Health Sciences and the Medical School Dean, co chair of the 50 th Anniversary Celebration, invo lved with the American Medical Woman's Association, Mother taught at USF and was very involved with the University. Born in India and describes her childhood there and the impact it had on her educational choices. Describes student life and the academic l ife of the University of South Florida. Became an Alumni Association board member in 1982. Her relationship with the Sarasota campus and the Sarasota community. Describes the evolution of the University of South Florida. USF 50th (2006) anniversary oral history project
Anila Jain, who was a student at USF from 1977 to 1981, describes her involvement with student life. Jain became an Alumni Association board member in 1982 and has continued to be active with the organization. She also discusses her relationship with the Sarasota campus, and the evolution of USF.
