This drawing was done by a 16 year old who lived in a village in Darfur. It depicts the military bombing the the village with military helicopters and attacking with armored tanks. The village is burning as a woman runs away.

On the backside of the drawing is Arabic text that translates to: "In the name of God the most compassionate and the most merciful. Today's date is: 06/03/2007. My name is Adam Hassan. I used to live in Sudan, state of Darfur, Province Al-Junaynah. A beautiful village. My age now is 16. I was 13 when I went to live in GAGA camp and thank you very much."
