On the front of the drawing is Arabic text that translates to the school's name, "Ali Ibn Abi Talib" and the name of the student who drew the picture, "Muhammed Burma Mohammed."
On the back of the drawing is Arabic text that translates to, "In the name of God the comassionate and the merciful. The Arab said leave this town. The Imams and the elders said to us don't leave your town. They started beating us mercilessly, setting houses on fire, killing people, and looting money. They also banned us from education for a long time. This is a picture of the injustice and imperialism. In the street, they searched us and took our belongings."
