Arabic text on the back of the drawing translates to, "08/16/2007. In the name of God the compassionate and the merciful. My name is Issa Mohammed Abdennabi, from Kabar. I was 8 when I left Sudan. Now I'm 12."
Drawing that depicts a village in Kabar, Darfur, under attack by the Sudanese military. Homes are burning after being bombed by helicopters and hit by mortar rounds. Janjaweed militia are shown riding camels and shooting civilians.
