Biographical:
Founded in 1974 in New York City, the Center for Book Arts, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the preservation of the traditional crafts of bookmaking, as well as contemporary interpretations of the book as an art object. Offering courses in bookbinding, printing, and papermaking, the Center operates an Exhibition Program, a Hand Bookbinding and Letterpress Printing Service, and a Book Arts Store.
