Scope and Content:
The collection is a conglomerate of several different components, including press clippings regarding Frank Garcia (a local amateur archaeologist), genealogical records for several families located in Marion County, Florida, two shadow boxes of items found at small excavations, personal correspondence, photographs, and other materials of the donor. Because of the voluminous and fragile nature of the bulk of the papers concerning Frank Garcia, a bibliography was created and many items were deaccessioned.
