Abstract:
During each iteration of the writing methods course, approximately 35 teacher candidates and 75 elementary students engaged in the field experience. The teacher candidates worked in pairs with groups of 4-6 students, creating approximately 12-18 micro-classrooms. Jenifer taught the candidates and students in one large space, such as cafeterias or libraries, so she could circulate, support, and coach the candidates.
