From the Piedras Negras site in the Peten of Guatemala, this piece is currently on display and curated at the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Guatemala City. This piece was laser scanned using a Konica Minolta 9i triangulation scanner (Doering and Collins) and was 3D modeled by Collins and Jorge Gonzalez (final model using Geomagic and Maya). Be sure to experiment with the model lighting (try holding the ALT key and the right button on your mouse), and also under rendering options try the MatCap render to remove the scan texture and examine carved surface elements.
