Abstract:
Known as the Grotesque Mask, this piece is today at the Museo Popol Vuh in Guatemala City. Originally from the ancient site of Kaminaljuyu, the piece is approximately 40 cm in height and 24 cm in width. A triangulation scanner was utilized in digitally documenting the piece as part of Doering and Collins’ Kaminaljuyu Sculpture Corpus Documentation Project.
