A Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) survey was performed at the Kuttler mound for the St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department. The mound is part of a larger archaeological complex called Bayshore Homes, and is located adjacent to Abercrombie Park. The City purchased the parcel for preservation, with our survey helping with understanding the mound construction prior to a modern home addition on the site. The house (bottom image) has now been demolished, with our 3D documentation showing the home position on top of the site (top image), and a re-survey of the area showing the bare earth model (center image).
