Notes

Abstract:
Excavations at the Anderson Mound, Jungle Prada Complex in St. Petersburg, Florida, recovered several bone pins including this peg-topped example dating between AD 1300 and AD 1530, during the late Safety harbor period. Carved bone rings usually slipped over the top of the pegs and may have functioned as a feather holder.
