She earned an MPH in Medical Care Administration from University of Michigan in 1974, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College in 1987. This collection contains her books, periodical and anthology publications, record of readings, and other written and aural records of her career as a writer of poems, essays, articles and reviews, as a poverty program and medical care administrator, and as a community activist.
