Notes

Abstract:
This ceramic jar from the site of Ocumulgee National Monument, would have been used for storing, cooking, or serving food or drink. This piece is a Bibb Plain type coiled earthenware, and shows a human effigy with faint linear aspects representing hair noted on the piece. Using the model inspection tools, explore the surface of the piece by turning off the render color and applying the Matcap+Surface render, and you will better see the incised lines as well as the areas of repair and breaklines on the jar. This jar is curated at the Ocmulgee National Monument, and was digitized using triangulation scanning and high resolution imaging.
