The purpose of the Multimodal Data Analysis Collection is to curate a digital exhibit of multimodal text analysis methods and create a central repository of methodological innovation and open-access scholarship at USF. Multimodal texts include different communication modes such as words, images, movement, and sounds. Our exhibit of methodologies includes an interactive archive of artifacts including illustrations, cartoons, websites, dramaturgical texts, and films. Researchers in fields such as art, humanities, communication, and education now have a centralized, publicly-available collection of methodologies suitable for analyzing multimodal artifacts as well as access to the artifacts analyzed.
